Edmonton Oilers Reach Milestones in Win Over Sharks

In a potential first-round matchup, Edmonton found themselves trailing early on. They took poor penalties in the first period and fell behind quickly. However, thanks to the efforts of the top six, Edmonton came back.

Connor McDavid carried his line, and got his 30th goal of the season off a rebound, tying it 1-1 in the second period. McDavid extended his point streak to 12 games, and leads the NHL with 97 points. Brent Burns scored after to make the score 2-1 after 40 minutes.

This is when the Oilers broke out. Milan Lucic led the crusade, and the Oilers made the most of their power-play time.
