The Edmonton Oilers are well represented at the 2016 World Hockey Championship and today was the first day of pre-tournament games. Canada blanked the Czech Republic 3-0, while the USA lost to Finland 3-2 today in pre-tournament games. The Oilers have Connor McDavid, Taylor Hall, and Cam Talbot on Team Canada, and Matt Hendricks and Patrick Maroon play for the USA.

Talbot started the game today and looked very solid in his half of the game. Some of his angles looked a little shaky, but playing on the bigger ice can do that to North American goalies.
