“I’ve been just trying to come in here and make an impression right away,” Maroon told the media in Edmonton on Monday.
After registering just four goals and 13 points in 56 games with the Anaheim Ducks this season, Maroon already has two goals and two assists in three games with the Oilers. Maroon has shown that he can play with skilled players in the past, most notably Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry in Anaheim, and appears to be fitting in nicely on the Oilers top line with Taylor Hall and Leon Draisaitl.
