The Oilers Entertainment group named Edmonton-born Susan Darrington as the new general manager of Roger’s Place, the future home of the Oilers and a part of the new “Ice District” downtown area. As the new GM, Darrington will oversee day-to-day operations in the arena, as well as booking future events. As a native to Edmonton, I am sure she will give more than 100 percent effort into making Roger’s Place, as well as the Ice District, the best it can be for the fans and the people in the city of Edmonton.
