Edmonton Oilers: Nick Ellis Paving Way as Condors Starter

He started off backing up Laurent Brossoit in Bakersfield, but after Jonas Gustavsson struggled to keep his job in the NHL, Brossoit moved up, and Ellis stepped up. He became the Condors starting netminder and has since impressed in his time between the pipes. Ellis is also helping his team make a run for the postseason.

In 25 games with Bakersfield, Ellis has gone 13-9-1, posting a 2.52 GAA and .925 save percentage. Ellis has also shown excellent development and growth and oozes confidence in the crease.
