He’s Yak! The Edmonton Oilers got great news from this morning’s practice involving one of their injured first-round picks, one that’s not named Connor McDavid. That’s right, not Connor. Nail Yakupov is expected to return to the ice for the Oilers soon.
McLellan told the media after today’s practice that Yakupov, who suffered an ankle injury, will be back in the lineup prior to the All-Star break. He will travel with the team next week on their road trip.
