General Manager Peter Chiarelli told Oilers.com Wednesday that in the coming weeks, the team may consider picking up more pieces as they enter training camp.
“We may add a player or two on a tryout, but we’ll see how that unfolds in the next week or two,” Chiarelli said.
Looking at the Oilers roster, the team has a pretty solid lineup, but some spots up for grabs on the forward lines. While there are a number of prospects who can step up and fill the voids, Edmonton may want to sign a few players to tryouts to add more depth throughout the organization.
