As we earlier discussed, the Edmonton Oilers have unfortunately not made any upgrades to the defensive corps since adding Adam Larsson in June. There are not many more options, but there is still a veteran option still available: Marek Zidlicky.
Though 39 years old, the Czechoslovakia native is a major offensive threat from the blueline. Has a wealth of top-level experience and plenty of polish working the power play. Is a clever passer who packs a heavy shot from the point and likes to join the attack. Zidlicky has such tremendous upside that he can still be an asset in the NHL.
