Edmonton outplayed St. Louis and ended up taking home a 3-1 win. The team is now 4-1 to start the 2016-17 season and appears to be a much stronger group.
Play-By-Play Rewind
The Oilers went into the second period leading the Blues in shots, but unfortunately, St. Louis struck first. Of course, it was Nail Yakupov who opened the scoring at Rogers Place, but for the wrong team. Yeah, it’s still weird to us, too.
Just look how odd this is…
However, St. Louis wouldn’t hold on to the lead for long.
