The Edmonton Oilers had left wing Milan Lucic and defenseman Jason Demers for a visit today, to show him the city, the arena and more about the market. After a meeting with Peter Chiarelli, it has been reported that Lucic and the Oilers have come to terms, and he will sign with the team on July 1.
Former Edmonton Journal sportswriter Curtis Stock first reported the news, and says that this has been confirmed by someone close to him.

When asked about the speculation, as well as his sources, Stock tweeted, “Got it from a good source.
