After a hot start to the season, Draisaitl fell into a drought, going seven games without registering a single point. With Ryan Nugent-Hopkins slotting in as the second-line centre, Draisaitl became the third-line centre.
Though the 21-year-old isn’t a centre first, he has thrived in the position, posting over 51 percent success in the dot.
