Not too long ago, fans were booing Justin Schultz, demanding that the Edmonton Oilers trade him for someone better. Peter Chiarelli did just that, satisfying many and sending Schultz off to Pittsburgh in exchange for a draft pick.
However, some fans are giving Schultz backlash for his play with the Pittsburgh Penguins. He and the Pens squad are three games away from a Stanley Cup, and it could be incredibly soon that the former Oilers defender has his name engraved in the NHL’s most-sought after trophy.
Schultz does not deserve any type of backlash or disrespect for his recent change of play.
