With a strong performance so far and a goal in the Oilers’ first preseason win, Khaira is showing that he belongs with the main club. The 23-year-old only saw 10 games of action with the Oilers last season, registering just a single goal. However, he did have an impressive eight goals and 20 points in 27 games with the Bakersfield Condors last year as well. Still, overall, his season was limited due to injury troubles.
NHL Potential
One of the more elevated areas of his game seen at camp so far is his shooting. He has obviously been working on accuracy and power in his shots, as evident by his scoring and sharp-shooting on the ice.
