The Edmonton Oilers may not have the greatest stats in the world, but with all of their talent, especially on offense, you would imagine that they would at least benefit from power play chances.
Well… erm… not quite. In fact, Edmonton’s power play is a Canadian Horror Story in its own right. It’s the third-worst success rate in the league, and Edmonton only scores about 16.4 percent of the time on the man advantage.
There’s no excuse for this, considering that, technically speaking and looking at their roster, they are stacked when it comes to offensive talent.
