The Edmonton Oilers end their 2017/18 regular season with a shootout win against the Vancouver Canucks. It was a very somber day to play this game after the tragedy that happened on Friday night in Saskatchewan with a minor league hockey team involved in an accident.
Thoughts and prayers go out to the families and friends that have been affected by this tragedy. So a lot of the players on both teams played with a heavy heart, but it turned out to be an excellent game overall.
This game was also the last night that the Sedin twins will ever play in the NHL.
