As he falters again, Eberle finds himself struggling to put up goals. The main problem he is having all stems from his inability to shoot the puck straight on net. He’s had 133 shots this season, but 243 shot attempts. A little over 50 percent of his shots actually make it on goal.
The biggest problem surrounding Eberle’s play is that his plays are rushed. He comes in with great speed, but is too quick to fire the puck and doesn’t mentally take the time to process his plays. That being said, his biggest enemy is his own shooting.
