There are plenty of great offensive options available for the Edmonton Oilers early on in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft, but there are also some really great options defensively as well. In fact, acquiring a prospect defender with a lot of potential is something that could really help the Oilers grow as a team.
That being said, if the Oilers want a defensive prospect that will develop quicker they may look to draft Olli Juolevi of the London Knights. The Finnish defenseman has had a good year in London, finishing with 42 points (nine goals, 33 A) and a plus-38 rating.
