The Edmonton Oilers may be completely admirable of top prospect Matthew Tkachuk, but if they’re truly going to trade the fourth-overall pick and attempt to move down in the draft, they may want to take a look at other options. One impressive stand-out choice is Russian defenseman Mikhail Sergachev.

Sergachev plays for the Windsor Spitfires of the Ontario Hockey League. He’s a 6-foot-3, 206-pound defender who plays a style of defense that is incredibly front and center, and very in your face. While he is also outstanding on the backcheck, he is able to create offensive plays and be involved in the rush.
