Edmonton Oilers Draft Targets: D Jakob Chychrun

It’s no secret that the Edmonton Oilers weakness is on defense, so this is obviously what the Oilers have to focus on in the offseason. If General Manager Peter Chiarelli is truly looking to move down in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft, he has a plethora of options to choose from later on.

Therefore, if Chiarelli looks to draft a defenseman, one player he could definitely consider is Sarnia Sting defenseman Jakob Chychrun. He’s a big left-landed defender, standing at 6-foot-2 and coming in at 194 pounds. He has quick feet and is solid in almost every area.
