Outside of the NHL the Edmonton Oilers are sorely lacking in forward prospects. Aside from improving the defense at the NHL level, restocking the cupboards with quality forward prospects should be the top priority for Peter Chiarelli and company this offseason.
With that in mind the Edmonton Oilers would be wise to give serious draft consideration to London Knights forward Cliff Pu.
Coming into the OHL with high expectations based on his OHL draft position, Pu did not have an awe-inspiring regular season. With only 31 points (12 G, 19 A) in 63 games this past season, it is peculiar why Cliff Pu has appeared so high on some draft rankings.
