Last night was the NHL Awards Show where the league hands out its player awards. The Edmonton Oilers had 3 players that could have won awards last night. Connor McDavid (Hart and Ted Lindsay) Stuart Skinner (Calder) and Darnell Nurse (King Clancy).
Of all the Edmonton Oilers nominated Connor McDavid was the only player to take home the awards he was nominated for. Honestly, it wasn’t much of a surprise that McDavid won what he did.
McDavid had an outstanding season, leading the league in points with 153 in 82 games. He also scored 64 goals and tallied 89 assists, helping the Edmonton Oilers secure a playoff spot.
