Entering his sophomore season, Connor McDavid is ready to capitalize with the Edmonton Oilers. He’s been getting into shape, training hard and hoping to prepare for a full season in the NHL, after a shortened rookie year thanks to a broken clavicle.
McDavid still managed to score 48 points (16 G, 32 A) in just 45 games played, and was nominated for the Calder Trophy. Part of his goals this coming season, however, is to prove himself, not just through stats.
“I’m not some 18-year-old kid anymore,” McDavid said in an interview with the “Edmonton Sun.
