On paper, Reinhart was the ideal defenceman for the Oilers. He is a big, physical force who can play a two-way game and contribute offensively. So, considering all formalities, this was a good move for Edmonton.
However, when Reinhart hit the ice, he wasn’t as successful. In 29 games with Edmonton, he put up a lone assist, 20 PIM and a minus-6 rating.
