Scoring 100 points in the NHL is a rare feat. There are only a handful of players in the league capable of putting up that type of offence in a single season – and McDavid has the chance to be one them.
The Newmarket, Ontario, native has 88 points in 75 games this year, which puts him six points ahead of Sidney Crosby in the NHL scoring race. McDavid also leads the league in multi-point games (26) and three-point games (10).
Edmonton’s captain has been on fire over the past two weeks, notching 13 points during his current seven-game point streak.
