Marco Roy, the Edmonton Oilers 2nd Round Draft Pick from 2013, has been a relative disappointment within the organization. So much so, the parent club failed to even offer him an ELC this Summer. I think most, me included, assumed that was it for the 6’1 pivot. The knock against him is that he was not able to dominate, offensively, at the CHL level. I thought he would likely be off to Europe to potentially ply his trade there.
