The 6-foot-4, 219-pound forward has eight goals and 18 points in 24 games with the Condors this season. He also has 24 PIM and is a plus-2.
With Lander up with the Oilers, Khaira slotted in as the first line centre. He played with Jesse Puljujarvi in the Condors 5-2 win over the Rampage Tuesday, finishing the night with two helpers. He is a quality player who can make plays and start the rush from anywhere on the ice. Not to mention, Khaira can make plays on the fly and find his teammates in perfect scoring position.
Lander will return and slot in on the first line centre, and Khaira will get the opportunity to return to the NHL.
