The Edmonton Oilers are bringing Wayne Gretzky back into the organization. He will become Partner and Vice-Chairman of Oilers’ Entertainment group, as per multiple reports.
Gretzky recently opened a new restaurant in Edmonton and is also an ambassador for the NHL’s 100th Anniversary. Not to mention, the Oilers will unveil a renovated statue of him in front of Roger’s Place Wednesday prior to the official announcement.
This is great for the Oilers. Gretzky will forever be an important part of the game, and having him with the organization is great. Additionally, having the best player to play in the NHL on your PR staff is even better.
