Today, Adidas and the National Hockey League came to an agreement that Adidas would become the official jersey brand for the league. This means that the Reebok logo will now disappear off of NHL jerseys, and it will be replaced with the Adidas logo.

However, there is something that Adidas is also looking to add to jerseys besides its vector and word mark: it wants to put ads on the jerseys. I think that this is ridiculous, and I am pushing for Adidas to keep ads off of NHL jerseys.
First off, the NHL is a place for hockey to be played.
