MT. PLEASANT, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University wrestling team wrapped Mid-American Conference dual action with a 29-7 road setback at No. 16 Central Michigan University Friday evening, Feb. 9, at McGuirk Arena.
In a match that was delayed two hours due to heavy snow in southeast Michigan, the Eagles (7-7, 3-4 MAC) battled hard against a fierce CMU (8-4, 5-1 MAC) lineup which featured seven nationally ranked wrestlers.
The Eagles notched a pair of wins on the day, highlighted by a major decision from redshirt sophomore Zac Carson (Akron, Ohio-Lake).
