Wrestling Advances Two to Day Two of NCAA Championships

CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University wrestling team advanced two of its five grapplers to the second day of the 2018 NCAA Wrestling Championships at the conclusion of day one, Thursday, March 15, at Quicken Loans Arena.

Highlighting the day was redshirt sophomore Sa'Derian Perry (Lakeland, Fla.-Lake Gibson) who advanced to the quarterfinal round of the 141 lbs. bracket, becoming the first EMU wrestler to get to the quarterfinals since All-American Joel Smith in 1989.

Joining Perry in the second day of the national tournament is redshirt junior Kayne MacCallum (Green Oaks, Ill.
