YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University wrestling team opens the 2016-17 season this weekend when the team hosts the EMU Open inside the Convocation Center, Saturday, Nov. 5. EMU enters the third season under the guidance of Head Coach David Bolyard, and are coming off their second winning season in three years as the squad finished with an 8-7 record in the 2015-16 season.

The team sent four wrestlers to the NCAA championships last season, the third time doing so since 2011-12.
