YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University women's basketball team opened its three-game homestand with a 67-54 setback to Kent State University, Wednesday night, Feb. 13, inside the Convocation Center.
EMU (10-12, 3-8 MAC) held a 10-7 edge over KSU (13-9, 6-5 MAC) with fewer than four minutes left in the opening quarter, but the Golden Flashes pulled away by closing out the first half on a 30-14 run and surrendered.
Sophomore Autumn Hudson (Richwood, Ohio-North Union) paced EMU with a career-high 13 points while pulling down seven boards, including four on the offensive end.
