LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla. (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University women's golf team returns to action for its spring stanza Monday, Feb. 4, when it travels to Lakewood Ranch, Fla. to tee off in the Mid-American Match Play Challenge. The Mid American Match Play Challenge is just the sixth time the squad will participate in a match play format tournament. The tournament is hosted by Bowling Green State University and takes place at Lakewood Ranch Golf & Country Club.
The two-day event will consist of 54 holes of match play competition. Teams are seeded one through 12 based upon the Golfstat rankings and then placed into a bracket.
