NEW BOSTON, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University women's cross country team gained experience at the Second Annual Warrior Challenge, hosted by Wayne State University, Saturday, Sept. 21, at Willow Metropark.
Sophomore Emily DeLine (Newport, Mich.-Airport) shined for EMU with a second-place finish at the 5K event, as she clocked in with a time of 22:55.2. Freshman Linda Geissler (Weinheim, Germany-Werner-Heisenberg Gymnasium) clinched 15th spot with a 24:53.2 mark, while fellow freshman Lindsay Bush (North Olmstead, Ohio-Magnificat) crossed at 25:30.6 to place 23rd. Additionally, senior Abbigail Stemple (Mason, Ohio-William Mason) ranked 26th with a time of 26:12.
