TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University women's cross country team faced its most challenging race of the season at the 2019 Under Armour Pre-National Invitational Saturday, Oct. 19, finishing the 6K event in 33rd place with a team score of 823 points.
"It was a disappointing day for us," said head coach Sue Parks. "We were in solid position as a team (18th) at the 4,000 meter mark, but we ran into some major trouble during the last part of the race. We are capable of much more but it all fell apart at the end today.
