YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – In its final tune-up before Mid-American Conference play begins, the Eastern Michigan University women's basketball team cruised past Northwood University, 53-39, Sunday, Dec. 30, inside the Convocation Center. It marked the fifth time this season that Eastern held an opponent to 50-or-less points, the most by an EMU squad since the 2011-12 campaign when it did so six times.
With the victory, EMU collected its seventh victory of the season for its most wins before conference play since the 2015-16 campaign.
