YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) -- The Eastern Michigan University women's basketball team is back at home where it will welcome Mid-American Conference East Division opponent the University of Akron for a weekend bout. Tipoff is set for 12 p.m., inside the Convocation Center.
Eastern (12-11; 7-5 MAC) looks to notch what would be a season-best third-consecutive conference win in its revenge game against the Zips. Akron bested EMU in OT, 88-81, in the first meeting between the squads, Feb. 1. Meanwhile, Akron (10-12; 3-8 MAC) looks to inch closer to the .500 mark on its season.
The game will be broadcast live on ESPN+ with Ryan Wooley calling the play-by-play and Tom Helmer providing analysis.
