MURRAY, Ky. (EMUEagles.com) – Eastern Michigan University junior Anna Watson (Ashland, Ohio-Ashland) fired a season-low 69 in the final round of the Jan Weaver Invitational Tuesday, April 4, to claim runner-up honors with a three-over 219 (75-75-69). It is the second-time Watson has finished a tournament in second-place, previously doing so at Don Benbow Invitational, March 7-8, 2022.
Host Murray State won the event with an 898 (299-298-301) on the par 72, 6,090-yard Miller Memorial Golf Course, as Samford (910), EMU (914), Lindenwood (955), and Southern Indiana (987) rounded out the top-five places.
