YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) -- The Eastern Michigan University volleyball team opens Mid-American Conference play when the Eagles host in-state rival, Western Michigan University, Thursday and Friday, Sept. 23-24, inside the Convocation Center.
EMU (5-6, 0-0 MAC) posted a 1-2 mark at the Michigan Challenge, Sept. 17-18. The Eagles finished the weekend strong with a 3-0 sweep over Boston College, Sept. 18. WMU (7-4, 0-0 MAC) is coming off a 1-1 record from the Bulldog Brawl hosted by Butler, Sept. 17-18. The Broncos fell, 3-2, to Milwaukee, before defeating Butler in straight sets.
Fans can catch both matches on ESPN+ with Greg Steiner providing the play-by-play Thursday and Ryan Wooley calling the match Friday.
