OOLTEWAH, Tenn. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University women's golf team placed seventh in the 15-team Chattanooga Classic, March 28-29, on The Honors Course in Ooltewah, Tenn., as the Eagles finished ahead of three teams in the national top 100, including Campbell University (No. 46), University of Michigan (No. 72), and Xavier University (No. 79). Freshman Mariana Vega (Barranquilla, Columbia/Colegio Karl C. Parrish) was the top finisher for the Eagles as she tied for 19th overall, a spot that tied or placed her ahead of six individuals ranked in the national top 125.
