YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) -- Andrea Vangoss, the head coach of Austin College's softball team for the past four seasons, has been named an assistant coach at Eastern Michigan University, Head Coach Melissa Gentile announced today, July 19.
"I am excited to welcome Andrea to the Eagle softball family and look for her to make an impact right away," Gentile said. "She has been a very successful head coach, brings a strong work ethic, knowledge of all facets of the game, and a passion to continually grow and challenge herself. She will work primarily with our pitchers and will also take over as our recruiting coordinator.
