ANN ARBOR, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) - The Eastern Michigan University men's track and field team saw nine student-athletes post career-bests in the Wolverine Invitational Saturday, Jan. 13, in Ann Arbor, Mich.
The Eagles totaled three event titles, two of which belong to redshirt senior Tyler Brown (Findlay, Ohio-Findlay). Brown first captured the 200m by crossing the finish line in 21.51, before finishing atop the podium in long jump with a distance of 6.96m. Along with Brown, freshman Owen Day (NRW, Germany-International School of Dusseldorf) shined in his track and field debut, taking first place in the mile run with a time of 4:08.
