YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – Former Eastern Michigan University golfers Beau Breault and Kyle Rodes are in the hunt for every golfer's dream – an opportunity to take part in the U.S. Open. Breault (2015-19) shot a 4-under 68 at Muskegon Country Club to advance to final qualifying, while Rodes (2013-17) was the co-medalist with a 5-under 67 at the local U.S. Open qualifier at Sara Bay Country Club in Sarasota, Fla.
The pair join Brett White (2012-16) in moving one step closer to a berth in the field. White won his qualifying event at Marietta Country Club with a six-under 64.
