AKRON, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) – Sophomore Olivia Loberg (Bend, Ore.-Summit) and freshman Sophia Wygonik (Westland, Mich.-Livonia Franklin) led the Eastern Michigan University women's golf team to a season-low 306 at the Akron Invitational Friday, April 16. Overall, the Green and White are in third-place after equaling its best 18-hole tally on the par-71, 6,265-yard Portage Country Club setup.
The University of Indianapolis holds the team after 18 holes with a 296, while UI's Cailyn Henderson and Akron's Jenn David hold a slim one-stroke lead over the field with a 73.
