KANSAS CITY, Mo. (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University track & field program saw a pair of Eagles be named Academic All-District, by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) today, July 15, in graduate student Taige Bryant (Edmond, Okla.-Edmond Memorial) and junior Chris Devaney (New Plymouth, New Zealand-New Plymouth).
Bryant has maintained a 3.73 cumulative grade point average (GPA) in health administration while recording a phenomenal year across both the indoor and outdoor seasons. At the GVSU Snowdown Showdown, the graduate student produced the second-best mark in the weight throw in school history at 21.
