CLEVELAND, Ohio. (EMUEagles.com) - After a strong opening meet to start the season, the Eastern Michigan University track & field program saw two competitors earn Mid-American Conference Athlete of the Week honors in junior Baldvin Magnusson (Akureyri, Iceland-Hull University) and graduate student Taige Bryant (Edmond, Okla.-Edmond Memorial), announced the MAC today, Dec. 9.
Magnusson was dubbed Men's MAC Track Athlete of the Week for the fourth time in his career, after his performance in the 5000m race last weekend at the GVSU Holiday Open, Dec. 3, hosted by Grand Valley State University.
