Trio of Student-Athletes Represent EMU at Music City Challenge

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (EMUEagles.com) – Three members of the Eastern Michigan University women's track and field team represented the program at the Music City Challenge Saturday, Feb. 15 at the Vanderbilt Student Rec Center.

Redshirt junior Karlie Swanson (New South Wales, Australia-Bellingen (Boise State)) and sophomore Janay Hall (Fayetteville, N.C.-South View (N.C. State)) each recorded personal-best times in the mile run. Swanson claimed 19th place with a time of 4:54.66, while Hall was 24th as she crossed the finish line in 4:55.92. For her part, Hall also placed 34th overall in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:17.
