CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University softball team saw three of its student-athletes earn All-Mid-American Conference accolades Tuesday, May 10. The conference office announced that junior Michelle Kriegshauser (New Lenox, Ill.-Lincoln Way Central), senior Aoife Duffy (Powell, Ohio-Olentangy Liberty), and freshman Amanda Akles (La Habra, Calif.-La Habra) were named to the All-MAC teams for their efforts during the season.
Together, the trio led the Eagles to their best campaign since the 2011 season, just missing the MAC Tournament. Kriegshauser earned her third consecutive award from the MAC, appearing on the All-MAC First Team for the first time in her career.
