UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University track & field program saw its multis put their athleticism on full display at Saginaw Valley State University's Jet's Pizza Invitational today, Jan. 28, inside the SVSU Fieldhouse.
Junior Chevonne Wheeler (Redford, Mich.-Divine Child) and freshman Maleah Scott (Farmington, Mich.-Farmington) completed the pentathlon, placing fourth (2,295) and sixth (2,770) in the competition, respectively. Wheeler took first in the 800 with a time of 2:14.23 and produced a personal-best leap of 5.27m in the long jump for third.
