(EMUEagles.com) – After two days at the 2022 Mid-American Conference men's golf championship, the Eastern Michigan University men's golf team is positioned in third place with an overall team score of 598 (289-309) Saturday, April 30. The University of Toledo is atop the leaderboard, posting a 19-over 595 (292-303) following 36 holes of golf at the White Eagle Golf Club course.
The Rockets are one shot ahead of Kent State (596) and three in front of Eastern Michigan on a leaderboard that has the top five teams separated by just eight strokes. At one point, Toledo led by as many by nine strokes during today's play but saw its lead whittled down to one stroke at the end of the day.
